Signature Ltd factory are opening their brand new R&D offices
On the 6th August 2007, the Signature Ltd factory will reopen with a brand new R&D offices and laboratory equipped with the latest high-tech development equipment.
Customers are the heart of Signature. It is from our customers that most of the ideas for innovation comes: when they bring to our attention an issue and we are working in partnership to find the best solution that suits them. We want to provide more than answers to customers’ needs. We want to anticipate those needs; to be always a step ahead. Our aim is to use the best technology in the service to our customers.
Regularly, new products are developed in our R&D department, such as the Duct Box that can accommodate many standard base lights; or the Trueflex: a reflective self-righting bollard that true return time after time. We also develop a range of LED products, such as interactive signs that can have multi messages, in accordance with the highway agency type approval TR2136C.
Thanks to its R&D department, Signature is already able to provide intelligent signs with data collection. Indeed Signature uses the latest technology in remote monitoring and date collection. The memory is capable of holding data on over 500,000 vehicles and gives volume and speed details. This helps our customers to improve their traffic management and see its impact
