In March 2006, Signature launched the MiniFLEX bollard. One of the key features of the MiniFLEX is the height; it is drastically smaller compared to the other road bollards in the range. Its purpose is so that drivers can see small children standing behind it. The ideal locations for the MiniFLEX are centre island refuges and rural areas. As the MiniFLEX is non-illuminated, it is covered in highly reflective material so that drivers can see it from a long distance and especially at night. It is very flexible and has been designed to with stand impact from a vehicle and will return to its original stance afterwards.
