Signature Limited Has Purchased John Wilkinson Limited In Its Most Recent Acquisition
Signature Ltd, a leading manufacturer of traffic management products based in Oldbury, is delighted to announce the purchase of Wiltshire based John Wilkinson.
The acquisition will improve Signature’s sales and distribution network in the South of England, strengthening both companies and enhancing Signatures product ranges throughout the UK.
John Wilkinson Ltd has been established 38 years and the new acquisition will provide John Wilkinson with a national marketing and distribution network that can be leveraged particularly for the Metrolight electronic ballasts for which John Wilkinson holds the sole distribution rights in the U.K. for street lighting applications. The partnership created between Signature and Metrolight through the acquisition of John Wilkinson enables Signature to offer Metrolight's field proven, high power HID (High Intensity Discharge) energy efficient lighting solutions to the street lighting market throughout the United Kingdom.

Signature will ensure that any necessary investments in John Wilkinson will ensure that it reaches its full potential over the coming years and will complement the recent acquisition of The Post & Column Company.
